Interview with Tim Salam, Scrum Master, worked with Harvey Nash since December 2020 Tell us about yourself, what’s your background? For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a love for technology and working with people. I’ve been in the IT field now for many years within different roles. I eventually transitioned into a Scrum Master role which I believe was my calling, as I truly enjoy what I do. What do you like about working with Harvey Nash USA? My initial contact with Harvey Nash was with Tom Wojtowicz. He’s got an amazing personality and has been great from the very beginning. I was always an FTE so I was a bit hesitant with contracting. We’ll, here we are 2+ years later and I must say, both Tom and Harvey Nash really do take the time to make sure you’re happy and successful. During my first year, I was really looking for better health benefits than what was being offered at the time and within a few months, Harvey Nash provided us with enhanced benefits for the upcoming open enrollment period. It truly shows that Harvey Nash has their contractors’ best interests at heart. Can you tell us about your successes at work? (Please keep client confidentiality in mind) I’ve been given the opportunity to work for a global leader, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of prestige beauty products as a scrum master and Agile Project Manager. During this time, I formed and coached two high performing Agile scrum teams within the quickly expanding Online E-commerce platform, supporting and enhancing the customers’ journey and experience throughout the companies many sites. Tell us something fun about yourself? Hobbies, playlist, favorite movies, I enjoy coaching and assisting with my sons’ sports team(s). I also enjoy suspenseful short series and films, American football, board games, video games, and traveling.
